Apart from its well-known news reports, BBC iPlayer also has other hot channels with popular content, like music, podcast, radio and TV shows and this service is available for almost all platforms, including personal computers, mobile devices, smart televisions, etc. But one of the disadvantages is that it allows user to listen to BBC Radio tracks on devices only with Internet connection.
Since BBC iPlayer Stream is a live streaming channel for the residents living in the UK, even for UK viewers, they can’t access to BBC content when they are gone to other places. In this case, more and more users are asking for the offline playback feature for better user experience. As consequence, good news came that BBC iPlayer offers the direct Download button on BBC radio programs. Now, let's see how it works.
Step 1. Launch BBC iPlayer app on your device. And then you can click one topic from 'Schedule', 'Station' or 'Categories' or directly use the Search bar to discover the favorite BBC streaming audio or radio track that you'd like to download.
Step 2. Please touch the target BBC radio programme and there are two selectable options underneath the payback screen, respectively 'Download' and 'Add to My Radio'.
Step 3. Please simply hit on the 'Download' button and it will automatically download radio files for offline listening and you can find them under the 'Download' section on your software.

Note: Most BBC radio programmes support the downloading playback feature for 30 days only after they are broadcast. Once the 30-day period ends, BBC audio downloads will disappear from your Download section on your BBC iPlayer app. Besides, according to different rights agreement, not all BBC radio tracks can be downloaded or they can keep in downloaded situation for a shorter period.
